Lost at sea

The hell of it is that its not a simple problem,
I don’t know where I am going or what I am doing,
I am but a ship on the ocean without a mast.

My chronometer broken,
My sextant hopeless lost over board,
Adrift I find myself on the sea.

Not on the sea of my home world,
Lost adrift on a ocean with a sky so alien to me,
I see none of my friends,
Nowhere is Orion or Taurus,
Not one to point me on my way.

How I am here I know not,
All I know is that I am here,
I know not where I should go or want to go.
